WHY DOES SO MUCH OF OUR CAREER FEEL LIKE “CHASING THE WIND?’

The majority of people experience a lack of meaning and purpose with regards to their work. This 4-week study leads us through the wisdom of Ecclesiastes. The videos, discussions, and weekly assessments will transform your experience of work. Our hope is to help you identify your work related idols while leading you into a fresh experience of the Holy Spirit.

WEEK 1

In this week’s study and discussion, we will introduce wisdom literature, learn the overall tone and direction of Ecclesiastes, and dive into the primary hope of the study so that your small group can read all 12 chapters of Ecclesiastes throughout this week. 

WEEK 2

In this week’s study and discussion, we will explore the primary theme of the Teacher’s wisdom while beginning to expose our own work-related idols. 

WEEK 3

In this week’s study and discussion, we will reorient our definition of idolatry so we can see how our vain work-related pursuits are idolatrous. Whenever idols are exposed, the way forward is to confess, repent, and encourage accountability. 

WEEK 4

In this week’s study and discussion, we will show the transcendent wisdom from Ecclesiastes within a New Testament epistle.
